First thing which we have to do is to check which version of WRT350N we are using.
Actually there are version 1, the upgradable one, and version 2, which is incompatible with dd-wrt. This is confirmed as the WRT350N version 1 is listed in the list of supported hardware: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#Linksys_.28Wireless_a.2Fb.2Fg.2Fn.29.
The WRT350N of version 2, on the other hand, is listed on the incompatibility check list: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Known_incompatible_devices
So, how to check the router version? You may check the version on the sticker underneath the router. Flip it over, look for Model No. label". If it has no "v" then it is version 1. Another way to check is the FCC-ID "q87-WRT350Nv2" or WRT350N.
Having right version 1 of RWRT350N we may continue.

urob hard reset
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Hard_reset_or_30/30/30
Hard Reset (aka 30/30/30 reset):
The following procedure will clear out the NVRAM and set dd-wrt back to default values:
- With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
- Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
- Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds (please note that this step can put Asus devices into recovery mode…see note below!)
This procedure should be done BEFORE and AFTER every firmware upgrade/downgrade.
