VirtualBox images (appliances)

Important information November 2016: Due to limited server disk resources and publicly available sites which provides VBox images for free we had deleted mentioned images from our storage.

Introduction

VirtualBox lets run another operating system in your computer's operating system. It is very usefull for trying out, testing and using another operating system or a new distro without using dual boot. 

Compatibility

These images will work in Oracle VM VirtualBox.

How to use images

  1. Get free Oracle VM VirtualBox, version for your operating system platform (many supported)
  2. Download the image you want to use (see the list below)
  3. In case that the file is zipped, unzip it. (In new appliacens we are using VBox ova archive file)
  4. Import the image into VM VirtualBox.
  5. Setup VM VirtualBox parameters
  6. Start

Notes: Android  version 2.2 x86, iso 2.2 generic, 512MB Disk space, 1GB fake SD Card, 
installing through steps described in following tutorial, mouse intergration disabled, Ethernet Bridged,
