Description

Routers R1 nad R2 are connected through the serial HDLC line. R1 router is a BGP speaker running AS 200, the R2 router is an AS100 BGP speaker. Both routers are configured with correct BGP neighbor commands to form an eBGP peering.

The capture is displaying the moment when we add a new route 10.1.1.0/24 through network 10.1.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 BGP comand on the R1 router (source IP address is 10.0.0.1). Router R1 is sending the Update message about new route inside of the AS 200 (AS PATH 200) domain to its eBGP neighbor, the R2 router. The Updade message contains path attributes and  inside of the NLRI field info about the route (24/10.1.1.0)
